As an educator, I have seen firsthand the struggles Louisiana families face every day — rising costs, stagnant wages, unaffordable childcare, and underfunded schools. Families are working harder than ever, but too often, Washington chooses politics and special interests over people.That needs to change.In Congress, I will fight to put people first by focusing on policies that strengthen working families, support small businesses, and invest in our children’s future.

1. Lowering Costs for Families

Fight to reduce the cost of groceries, healthcare, and childcare by expanding tax credits and holding corporations accountable for price gouging.Cap insurance rate hikes and make coverage more affordable for Louisiana families.Support federal investment in housing affordability and community infrastructure.

2. Investing in Education and Childcare

Expand access to universal pre-K for all 3- and 4-year-olds, funded by smarter budgeting of existing federal expenditures.Guarantee free school lunches for every student in America — because no child should be hungry in the classroom.Increase teacher pay and support, ensuring educators can focus on what matters most: helping students succeed.

3. Putting America’s Tax Dollars to Work for Americans

Reevaluate wasteful spending abroad and redirect resources toward domestic needs like schools, childcare, and small business growth.Prioritize programs that directly improve the lives of working Americans rather than corporate subsidies or endless foreign aid.

4. Strengthening Communities and Small Businesses

Invest in local business development and work force training to bring good jobs back to Louisiana.Expand broadband access and infrastructure to support both education and entrepreneurship across rural and urban areas.

My vision is simple: government should work for the people — not the other way around. By putting families, children, and communities first, we can build a stronger Louisiana and a stronger America.
